Now AMSI not only cater to shipping industry but as well as private and government offices. AMSI has expanded its product according to the seafarers and industrial need including different kinds of bags, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), polo jackets, poloshirt, winter jackets, office uniforms, other paraphernalia and corporate giveaways.

It is all started when Alberto Alcantara and Josefina Savares joined venture to engage in the business of supplying seafarer’s uniforms. With a clear vision, they left behind their own personal interest and establish the very foundation of AMSI. However, the early years of the business turned very bitter. AMSI suffered unbearable financial losses because the first and only client of AMSI had to terminate their contract for a cause. AMSI, however, was given another chance to prove herself worthy of the trust of the shipping company through Captain Aguilar, the designated manager of the said company. When asked why he gave AMSI a second chance, he said he would not forget one very significant incident recounted by Mrs. Savares which he would always believe as an act of the hand of God

Aquarian Marine Supply, Inc. (AMSI) was born on June 13, 1988. It will always be remembered that “Christ is the Head of the business, the Unseen Manager in every department and the Silent Partner to every transaction. Guided by biblical principle, the noble value of honesty, AMSI is able to face every challenge as she zoom high with God in the business field.

AMSI receive an order from the same shipping company requesting to provide them bulls cap with the facsimile of a mosquito embroidered on it. Despite a very short notice, AMSI willingly accepted the request. The cap was successfully done but the specific embroidered design was a big problem. Time was short. It cannot be done. Mrs. Savares and Mrs. Alcantara together with one helper stayed overnight working on the print and other alternatives in place of the design but to no avail. The result was so odd. The flight of the person who will bring the bulls cap was set at 5:30 in the morning. Mrs. Savares and company had to rush to the airport without getting any sleep. They had to deliver the order even when they were not really satisfied with the embroidery. On their way to airport, they prayed to God. If only they could be given one more day, they could finish the bulls cap as specified. God answered their prayer in every special way. The supposed flight was cancelled due to engine trouble and was re-scheduled to 12:00 noon the following day. It was an unimaginable situation which very rarely happens. This was a manifestation of God working with them, rewarding them of their hard work.

Truly, if you want to succeed you have to be honest all your life. And true enough the manifestation of God’s work in this business can be traced its track record. Now, AMSI does not only cater to shipping industry but as well as to private and government offices with high quality products of different variety ranging from seafarer, industrial, commercial, office and school uniforms and paraphernalia.
